I'm not sure if "Stevo@somebizzare.com" is Stevo Pearce, but people should not be doing wiki entries about themselves.

Archives[edit]

TV show[edit]

There was a Some Bizzare tv show, a predecessor to Snub TV, that was shown via Nightflight on the USA Network around 1984. It was notable as the first, and only label-run, indie music program to appear on US nationwide tv. Maybe references can be found. Wwwhatsup (talk) 19:55, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is true, the show was run by Stevo Pearce. But there are no references to find as of yet.... I am working on it. --Clunkbox (talk) 07:46, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Current Roster[edit]

I think if you're going to make a list, it should be just that - a list. The extra text looks clumsy. If the acts are significant in some way that can be mentioned in the text above. Which, incidentally needs to be rewritten. I'm waiting for a bit more info to go in there before I attempt that, but I will have a go at it, soon. Keep adding stuff, with citations. Moved the info to the main article. This was done as some people try to delete info on such artists --Clunkbox (talk) 11:26, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Links on the current roster have been deleted. I was wondering why this was. If someone needed to reference the artist through such link how else would they achieve this? --Tigwiggy (talk) 14:24, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The list of current artists has recently been removed from this article. It appears that they are listed as contributors to the Some Bizzare Double Album in that article -- Foetusized (talk)

And now a new, shorter artist roster has returned, sans discussion -- Foetusized (talk) 19:23, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling[edit]

Any particular reason why they chose to use the spelling "bizzare"? Loganberry (Talk) 20:45, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Per the interview with Stevo referenced in the article [1]:

Stevo is dyslexic, though that's not the reason behind the spelling of his company's name. "No, I like ambiguities. It's Some Bizzare, spelt B I Z Z A R E. The idea of the label was to be aware of people's expectations and do the opposite almost. Not deliberately. There's nothing more irritating than artists trying to be different for the sake of it."
