Loco names[edit]

Not just class 66 - their names were first given to locos of Class 47: 47 577 Benjamin Gimbert GC and 47 579 James Nightall GC, being applied at some point in 1981, definitely no later than April 1982. That of Gimbert was transferred to 47 574 at some point between December 1986 and January 1988. 47 579 lost its name during 1995; during that year it was renumbered 47 793. 47 574 lost its name during 1997. --Redrose64 (talk) 13:01, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar[edit]

I used to live in Newmarket (town near to Soham) and something has always bugged me. Shouldn't the engraving on the monument read "thine own" rather than "thy own"? Theeurocrat (talk) 14:51, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
