Requested Move[edit]

  • Support: There is no SSA in Denmark. --Adamrush 10:29, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • SUPPORT, though maybe : National personal identification number, instead of PIN code from Banks? 132.205.45.148 17:07, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • I'm just going by the translation published on the Danish Civil Registration System website. --Adamrush 17:09, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. In most cases, using the official English terminology, where one exists, is better than inventing new translations. There are probably exceptions, but there seems to be no reason for one here. Uppland 09:40, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • There is no controversy and no need for a vote. All that is needed is an admin's help to do something that anyone would have been able to do but for a technical mistake. - Haukur Þorgeirsson 21:45, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Article moved[edit]

This article has been moved as, until Denmark creates a Social Security Administration, the title is totally inappropriate. The translation personal identification number has been taken off Det Centrala Personregisters English homepage. I am going to assume that it is the official one. I have decided upon using the Civil Registration System to translate Det Centrale Personregister, also per the English website. This second translation I am not as certain about.

Also, I have removed all links to the original article, Social_Security_number_(Denmark) from Wikipedia, so, if you could, please delete that page. Thank you. --Adamrush 20:30, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the change in title, but I'm afraid you will have to revert your move of the text and go to the Requested moves page to ask to have the article moved to this title (this wouldn't have been necessary if you had just used the "move" button to move the article in the first place). A cut-and-paste move destroys the history of an article and is not allowed according to the GFDL. Uppland 07:30, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

FYI: National identification number --132.205.45.148 12:14, 27 October 2005

I don't understand. --Adamrush 17:55, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
