The article should have something about how this has been used a measure of eminence. This has been criticised by Tony Chapman - for example, if a woman has had articles published under both her married and maiden name, or an author is sometimes known by different initials (such as Tony Chapman,he has been referred to as T. J. Chapman, T. Chapman, A. Chapman and A.J.Chapman) this will underestimate the citation count. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 15:40, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
