"Controversy" edit[edit]

I changed this sentence: "Robert Smith has since gone on record saying he prefers the Thomas Jules version of the track." The sentence implies that Thomas Jules and Lady Sovereign did two versions of the same song, when in actuality they recorded two different song that sampled the same song by The Cure, and even then to different extents. Therefore I changed the sentence to: "Robert Smith has since gone on record saying he prefers the Thomas Jules track." That should clear up any misperception. 66.234.194.81 (talk) 18:55, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I removed this section completely. There were no sources to back up the assertions that she was "pushed" to sample The Cure by executives; that hearing the Thomas Jules track inspired her (or the executives) to sample Closer To Me; or even the existence of any controversy. A MySpace page isn't really a reliable source. –Megaboz (talk) 15:22, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
