If you feel that the band cannot be on Wikipedia because they were a one-hit wonder, so be it.

But here's my SO tale.

SO released their only album in the late 80s in the US. The single "Are You Sure" got radio airplay, enough that I bought the cassette when the album "Horseshoe in the Glove" came out.

In the 90s, my tape became damaged, so looked up a US rare albums shop in Pittsburgh PA, two states away, and bought a CD copy of the album for an extraorbitant price.

Five years later, I found a used copy at a used CD shop for a dollar.

They were big enough to get a US record contract for that one album, is that not enough for a single article? Not like it eats up a lot of space on the wiki. Taniwha 14:56, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notability tag removed on #1 basis:

Has had a charted hit on any national music chart, in at least one large or medium-sized country.

"Are You Sure" charted in both the U.S. and the U.K. Notability issue, over!
