German Resistance[edit]

The article implies that they are fighting the Nazis and Red Army but they are native Germans, exactly who are they loyal to?

They're german resistance, read an article about german resistance. They would be working to achieve their own goals, probably backed in some way by the US/UK among others.

Very nice game! It would be nice if there could be a version of this game set in beautiful cities such as Paris or Budapest, or perhaps in Asia in places such as Singapore, Saigon, or Manila (the Battle for Manila in 1945 would be interesting). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.107.159.125 (talk) 10:03, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WHAT[edit]

How is this a "guide"? Guide to what, how to play the game? Hell no, it's just the links to the articles on the player's weapons used. Not trivia at all, trivial would be a list of enemy vehicles (THAT is minor stuff) or the list of locations (especially as some of them are appearently fictional) or something like that. The weapons are essentional and educational too (one click and someone can learn about a G43). Also it's sourced. So what the hell is a problem? There is no problem, you're inventing them because you have nothing better to do (I've never seen you expand any article, or correct something).

You know what would be a guide? Something like this: "PROTIP: TO DEFEAT THE ENEMIES SHOOT YOUR WEAPONS AT THEM UNTIL THEY DIE. When using a pistol (silenced), you can drop an enemy with one shot at close range with one shot once the crosshair is red. (Etc.)" This is a guide. I just removed the ACTUAL guide in Elemental Master, go and see.

The list of characters (WRITTEN BY ME) is more of a "guide", but you just won't me let delete it (actually just replace it with a SHORT plot summary in prose)? The characters are simply not warranting their own list! The game is not character-driven at all, THIS is a trivia. They're just background for the missions, they have no personalities, they mostly don't even have full names! The game is about shooting weapons accurately and stealth. Hey, did you actually complete this game? This is a serious question: did you even play it? Or even seriously researched the subject to pretend the ownership of the article?

And you know what is REALLY trivia? Stuff like HUNDREDS OF WORTHLESS TRANSFORMERS ARTICLES. Not only all the Transformers, also all the G.I. Joe characters, also all the Marvel minor characters having their own articles - also hundreds of them. Except absolutely bno one cares about it! (That is, besides me.) And you're obsessed over what, a a handful of educational (encyclopedia, eh?) links being a "guide" or any kind, somehow, or the alleged superiority of LIST of personality-less characters NOBODY remembers over my PROSE summary? Really? REALLY?

Now, I rewrote and then wrote actually most of this article (by expanding), I wrote the reception section, I updated it when the new game came for Wii, I filled in the infobox with corrected info and more info, I categorized it, internally linked it, basically I did EVERYTHING (not this only here, and somehow I haven't see you doing something like this anywhere). Not you. Actually, I managed to do this IN SPITE of you. Are you doing it with the other editors too? Screwing up their good work, to the point of REPEATEDLY inserting back false information and removing correct info, like if you were paid for this vandalizing or something (asyou are apparently ALWAYS sitting at your computer, non-stop looking at the watch list)? I hope not.

Also, I just noticed how you mindlessly removed the actually important stuff (mentioning the game's relatively massive and quite complicated open-world gameplay) BUT left all the over-detailed "guide" which needs to be rewritten (and which was also unsourced via references). Congratulations, you're crazy! Never cared to even read the external links I've provided: http://www.gamespot.com/gamespot/features/pc/unsung_heroes/sec2_10.html and http://www.next-gen.biz/features/time-extend-midwinter - of course, why? (I won't even ask if you ever played the game, it's too obvious you didn't.)

And let's say say it was all just by accident. So would you, good sir, please get over yourself and kindly piss off and stop vandalising, as you did with the "series of books" bullshit repeatedly as you were just ignorant, while I am not? Seriously, just stop. Just. DAMN. Stop. (Get some sleep, go outside, actually play some vidya, for a change, something else, anything instead.) You are doing a bad job here.

Okay?

God damn. --Asperchu (talk) 12:12, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please see the guidance of wp:ADHOM. Talk pages are not a forum for you to rant at another editor. If you wish to raise a complaint then please follow a recognized Dispute resolution process. Thanks, (talk) 12:33, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The point is still the characters LACK ANY NOTABILITY (and even a little bit of personality, some don't even have last names), and removing this LIST and turning it into prose is considered "game guide" by this persistent vandal user. --Asperchu (talk) 12:42, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If I'm a vandal, report me. You can do so here. Geoff B (talk) 12:45, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(ec) Calling other editors vandals is considered a failure against ADHOM unless you are prepared to report them (WP:AIV) or use a dispute resolution process (WP:DR). Whilst you argue in this way I doubt that anyone will care to read through your rant to appreciate your rationale for reverting. Looking at the article history I can see that the number of reverts is infringing on the guidelines of Edit warring, should this continue then this is highly likely to be reported as such. You may find Wikipedia:Shouting things loudly does not make them true a helpful essay. Thanks, (talk) 12:53, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Name of the sniper[edit]

Some sources (for instance this one) even mention that the sniper is a German soldier Peter Mauer who works for the OSS in exchange for asylum in the USA. --89.177.41.248 (talk) 04:56, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Incomplete Publisher Info[edit]

US Wii version is published and distributed by "Maximum Family Games," who now go by Maximum Games while the EU release seems to be Reef Entertainment who are currently, and incorrectly, attributed as the only Wii publisher. 67.212.252.12 (talk) 21:32, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
