The result of the move request was: Moved as proposed. Most oppose !votes are relating to issues of disambiguating with a now-deleted 2010 film article. There wasn't much objection to the overall proposal of moving the dab page  — Amakuru (talk) 10:20, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

– There are eight entries listed upon the Slave ship (disambiguation) page, with six of those being proper names using uppercase for each "S". Thus there is no good reason for "Slave Ship" redirecting to "Slave ship (disambiguation)". As for Slave Ship (1937 film), the only other analogous entry is The Slave Ship (film). If consensus skews towards leaving Slave Ship (1937 film) as is and moving The Slave Ship (film)The Slave Ship (2010 film), I will also support such an option. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 22:07, 28 September 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. Steel1943 (talk) 17:28, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose as to the DAB page move per WP:Redirect. Alternative capitalizations are usually redirected to the primary topic. Rreagan007 (talk) 05:22, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support 1st, oppose 2nd. Per WP:DABNAME all other uses are in title case other than the primary topic and per WP:DIFFCAPS generally alternative capitalizations generally shouldn't be redirected to the primary topic. Regarding the 2nd move yes the 2010 film has "The" but per WP:SMALLDETAILS the title with "The" is the simplest form so probably doesn't distinguish. The 1937 film has 221 views compared with 144[[1]] for the 2010 film, probably not enough to be worth the likely PDAB. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:12, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If the main title headers for Slave Ship (1937 film) as well as for The Slave Ship (film) remain unchanged, should the redlink representing incomplete disambiguation Slave Ship (film) become a redirect to the Slave Ship / Slave ship (disambiguation) page? —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 23:28, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, with {{R from incomplete disambiguation}}. Crouch, Swale (talk) 08:20, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support both now that the 2010 film has been deleted. Crouch, Swale (talk) 06:24, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
