hakd gallery[edit]

here's a selection of cool production pictures, promo material, taken -dont ask- from the french official site. one or two could be added in the article later as stubs don't deserve too many pictures. these pictures could also help to determine which Mirage 2000 types (1-seat, 2-seat, training) were used in the movie. I suggest Mirage 2000D for the 2-seat model & Mirage 2000-5 MkII for the show (stolen) Mirage.

other pictures are availble from "galerie1.jpg" to "galery19.jpg" just change the file name in your browser.

The two seater is an Armee de l'Air Mirage 2000D (multirole), I believe - the red-bordered flare dispensers on the spine, just in front of the vertical stabilizer, are a giveaway. As far as I know there are no Mirages in the French Navy. -Father Inire (talk) 06:35, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The list of aircraft in the article is incomplete. There is a Dassault business jet and Bell 206 helicopter that are used by the Ministry of Special Missions as well as an E-3 AWACS aircraft. The article also mentions an A340 as a tanker. The aircraft depicted in the tanker role is a KC-135. There are also a number of aircraft in the background of many shots that are not listed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.1.245.194 (talk) 23:54, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MIRAGE 2000-5[edit]

ok, single seat model is "MIRAGE 2000-5". found the info in Dassault's official shop.

will add aircraft data in the article. Shame On You 09:51, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating[edit]

Plot[edit]

The original plot says that both Marchelli and Vallois are kicked out. In the movie, however, Marchelli is the only one kicked out. Vallois then gives his "wings" to a Corporal who is unloading boxes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vfrfreak23 (talkcontribs) 01:38, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Plot rewrite and more[edit]

I mostly rewrote the "Plot" section and made some other edits. Notably, I removed the "Aircraft" section because it was incomplete and, frankly, unnecessary.

I searched for sources, but the only reliable sources were YouTube videos in French. My French is terrible, and while the videos look legit, they are not posted on official channels and are therefore copyright violations, unusable as Wikipedia citations. (See the essay Wikipedia:Videos_as_references)

If anyone understands French, here's a video showing how Eric Magnan captured the aerial shots: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNbGsggw0ck
