First header[edit]

To Ayustar, I think that using 「」are better to distinguish the character's names in Japanese. Also, the hiragana should be left in the page because the majority of us (English-speaking people) are not what you would call the best readers of kanji and needed the hiragana. (Me as one of them.) For the usage of parenthesises as opposed to 「」, if there is some reason you chose to change it that way, can you possibily explain? --69.237.183.18 01:48, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to butt in. It's just my opinion, but I preferred Ayustar's edit. Hiragana is unnecessary, especially when the kanji is already romanised, and I believe the majority of English-speakers don't even know how to read hiragana, or care for that matter. If absolutely needed, there's always the ja wiki. --Raica 09:28, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No, you're not butting in. I suppose you're right. Anyone can change that if they want to. Right now I'm just a bit lazy. --69.237.2.63 17:16, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Manga section[edit]

The manga section reads as a teaser for the mangas instead of an encyclopedia article. Especially with all the questions at the end. Maybe the content of the 'manga' section should be incorporated in the 'story' section or vice versa. Ninja neko 16:23, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. I can try to fix that. Ismene 11:57, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Moon and Mio[edit]

There should be some mention of Dark Moon and Kyoko's acting of Mio. It's a rather large arc and it's not mentioned at all when smaller arcs are covered in detail. Plot and character section both focus too heavily on the very start of the series and tends to ramble.

There are many arcs to this manga now. A more in-depth break down of each would be great if someone knows how to do it. I can easily make an outline, but I'm not computer savvy enough just yet to get it on here- correctly, anyways. 180.131.251.14 (talk) 11:54, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:RenTS.jpg[edit]

Image:RenTS.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Shou's real name[edit]

Well, it might not matter to some of you, but Shou's real name, when written in Kanji uses the "matsu" (松) kanji. But his performing name uses the kanji "nao" (尚). I'm changing it and I hope nobody change it back again. :'/

Anime vs manga[edit]

Is the anime storyline the same as manga? Which manga chapters are covered by anime series? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 04:38, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mostly, the anime story is the same, but there are some small changes. For example, in the manga, the director collapses, but the scene is missing in the anime (I guess this cut is for crossover appeal to male viewers). The biggest difference is that the story about Hiou-kun and Kanae's chaotic extended family is missing. I'm not sure when the cut was done. The episode may have been planned but then left out - at least that would be the reason why season 1 has 25 episodes and why Hiou-kun and Kanae get their own scene in the season finale's "where are they now" ending, despite Hiou-kun not having appeared before.Ambi Valent (talk) 11:22, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Character's section[edit]

Wasn't it a little too big? Especially Kyoko's part. I know she's the lead, but that's supposed to be short, you have the article with the characters list to tell the whole story. So, I cut it a bit. I'm just not sure about the proper amount of information. I believe it still looks like it's too big but I'm not sure if I should delete all characters but the three or just leave it, so I'll leave it like this for now. Lumi-chan (talk) 22:00, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it was definitely excessive before, thanks for your trimming. I believe current consensus when there is a character list is to simply merge any character section into the plot section with a {{see also}} link to the character list - you might also want to ask User:AnmaFinotera for pointers; she's much more knowledgeable about plot summaries than I am. =) ダイノガイ千?!? · Talk⇒Dinoguy1000 17:17, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The part I wrote about Amamiya Chiori is gone.... T.T
Why delete her entry?? She is one of the Love Me member, so she should turn to be quite prominent in the story... I know that the Valentine Day's arc cut her off before she could be introduced more into the story as Love Me member, but even before the V-day's arc, it's obvious that she would be one of the main chara....
Also, I can't remember well, but i think there's some chara that is removed from the chara list.... I feel that the chara list should be kept as comprehensive as possible, maybe less in depth for better readability, but it's good to list all mentioned characters for better information to readers.
Lastly, if you happen to be the one that deleted my entry about Amamiya Chiori, do you happen to save a copy of that part?? I always kept track of what I wrote online, be it blogs or wiki, and I can't find that particular entry i wrote... if you have it, could you post it here?? I'll delete it after I copy it... thanks. Shouldn't Reino from Vie Ghoul also be added to the character list now that he is proving to be a recurring main character and a primary villian-type? Just a thought.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.96.24.175 (talk) 16:49, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An overview of the arcs would allow an introduction to supporting cast who have become recurring characters.
I've recently made some pretty drastic changes to some of the articles (Plot, Kyoko, Ren, Sho, and Kanae's character info). I do not think I changed the content so much as the structure of the paragraphs. I hoped to make them more cohesive.
In Ren's description, I used the word "persona" as opposed to "personality" to describe the traits he portrays because it is a facade and therefore not his "true" personality. Hotaru y hanabi (talk) 14:59, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Skip Beat dub and release[edit]

@AngusWOOF: The backers' copy has already shipped, so the release date for the Skip Beat dub is 2017, and not TBA. MizukaS (talk) 17:16, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Backers copies aren't a public release though, but rather a private/sponsor's release. It needs another source for that. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:22, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
