Place of birth - probable WP mistake[edit]

I know nothing about the subject of this article (why I was looking at it) but the editor who wrote this "Although Thomas Temple is said to have been born at Burton Dassett in Warwickshire, the eldest son of John Temple and Susan (née Spencer), this seems improbable as his baptism on 9 January 1566/7 is recorded at Everton, Northamptonshire, the childhood home of his mother" seems unaware of two things: it was usual for a bride to be married from her own parish, it was traditional to take the first-born child back to the priest that married the parents to show that the marriage had been fruitful.

The WP editor's supposition is likely wrong. Eddaido (talk) 05:36, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Related to this is the fact that there appears to be no Everton in Northamptonshire. May be it is a typo for Everdon? Keith D (talk) 11:16, 5 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
