Butler of Boelick (Bulick or Pulick) were cadet branch of Polestown. Sir Richard Butler of Boelick (Pulick) was uncle to Red Piers, 8th Earl of Ormond.
Sir Richard was younger brother of Sir Walter Butler, High Sheriff of Kilkenney.
