Date dissolved discrepancy[edit]

The Irish Times court report gives 16 April 1923 as the date of the Chancery winding-up order, whereas minister Sean MacEntee in 1933 told the Dáil "the Sinn Féin Co-operative People's Bank which was wound up under an order of the court in 1927 ... this bank was dissolved by order of the High Court in March, 1925".

The Chancery division of the 1877 High Court was part of the 1924 High Court, so that matches; but dunno about the discrepant dates: were there separate orders or was MacEntee just plain wrong in 1933? Is he confusing the Sinn Féin Bank with the National Land Bank and/or the Dáil loans? Or maybe there are OCR errors; could someone check a hardcopy Dáil debate? jnestorius(talk) 19:59, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
