Not as good as all the hype[edit]

The problem with copy/pasting reviews is that this does not accurately reflect a correct critique of the film.

This film has a major plot hole that makes the film nonsensical. It should be discussed. The points are these:

The Beast is in isolation
The Beast can only be passed information via informants or using a burner phone to call people on the outside
The Beast works out - from the information he has received - that Harlon ratted out the gun deal
Therefore if the Beast can come to this conclusion using the info passed to him from third parties, those same sources would eventually come to the same conclusion.

Therefore the film's great climax where Harlon kills Beast to become the new Shot Caller makes no sense because anyone in the same criminal gang should know what the Beast knew.81.159.165.10 (talk) 11:35, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
