Name?[edit]

So why is it called "Shaw Farm"? This article has considerable history, and names many owners/proprietors (except for the tenant who was evicted, who may or may not have been Charles Cantrell), but never mentions who the farm is named for. This is an all-too-common phenomenon in Wikipedia. Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 19:40, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It'll be on page 238 of Roberts (1997) but unfortunately the Google preview doesn't have it; page 240 would also be great as it will contain information from the later times.
