Can someone confirm please as I haven't watched the early Sharpes for a while? Sharpes Justice says that he came from Yorkshire, but was he raised in London? Or is this a clash with the books? Douglasnicol 17:34, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

From Sharpe (TV series): "There are some differences between the series and the novels. For instance, in the books, Sharpe was born in Wapping in London and had dark hair. Sean Bean however is blond and is from Sheffieldaccent , so the character in the series speaks with a pronounced Sheffield, albeit Sharpe is revealed to be born In Keighley in Sharpes Justice (although in the books, the issue with Sharpe's northern accent and roots has been addressed as having him escape from London to Yorkshire when he was a teenager to avoid vengeance for a murder that he had committed in London)." Fair use rationale for Image:Sharpe's Rifles.jpg[edit]

Image:Sharpe's Rifles.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The Crimea, Portugal and England[edit]

The article claims these shooting locations. The programme itself only names the Crimea.
The episode is set in Portugal, but that does not require it to have been filmed there.
