Why does this article only talk about Germany when the day is commemmorated also for example in Finland?88.112.122.234 (talk) 11:36, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

They seem a bit different, but I think those are both coming from the same tradition/legend. For some reason, the Finnish version is in separate article: National Sleepy Head Day. Same in Finnish Wiki: general in "Unikeonpäivä" and the Finnish version in "Unikeonpäivä (Naantali)", though apparently some celebrations have been arranged in other cities too. I have no info on that, I only know the Naantali version. 109.240.3.133 (talk) 18:33, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

June?[edit]

The article on the Seven Sleepers says the feast was on July 27, and only moved to June after the second Vatican council. So did the German people change their folk culture to match? Or was it always a month early? --2607:FEA8:D5DF:F3D9:0:0:0:9 (talk) 11:45, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
