The result of the move request was: move the poem to the base location as the primary topic. Dab page deleted. Jenks24 (talk) 05:23, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

September 1913 (month)September 1913 – The month is the primary topic. Also delete September 1913 (disambiguation) per WP:2DABS. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 23:29, 26 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. The "(month)" part of the name is an anomaly among such articles and seeks simply to aid in resolving the distinction between the month and the poem. Eliminating the disambiguation page and using the redirection clause at the start of this page is ample solution, less complex, and in keeping with WP:COMMONNAME. I am changing my position in light of Dohn joe's argument below. While COMMONNAME is ordinarily a big deciding factor, a 75% usage the other way makes PRIMARYTOPIC the more important issue. The same reductions in naming complexity are still possible if we rename the poem's article. Evensteven (talk) 00:17, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The poem, however, got over four times the average views, and over three times the views for the month page:
I understand the consistency argument that some people would use here, but WP:PRIMARYTOPIC tells us that when 75% of people have shown they want a particular page, we should probably send them there! Dohn joe (talk) 16:34, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose and move September 1913 (poem) to September 1913, per Dohn joe. However, I think we still ought to eliminate the disambiguation page, and simply use an equivalent redirection clause at the poem's article to point to the month's article. There's no great complexity in choosing between only two articles, and total views of the two together are not so high as to create traffic problems. I have placed a notification of this discussion on the poem article's talk page, to direct attention to this new proposal. Evensteven (talk) 00:23, 28 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
