Is it an Analogue of prostacyclin[edit]

Article says they are "agonists of the prostacyclin receptor" - Does that make it (or is it) an analogue or prostacyclin (as the others in See-also are described) ? - Rod57 (talk) 02:47, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Structural analog says "In chemistry, a structural analog is a compound having a structure similar to that of another one, but differing from it in respect of a certain component" which is rather unspecific, but matches what I have learned at university. So I'd say, being an agonist does not necessarily mean being an analog (fentanyl isn't a morphine analog in my opinion), but MRE-269 qualifies as a PG analog, being a carboxylic acid with a long chain...
