The film Secret and Explicit (The Aims and Acts of Zionists) was banned from wide release due to scandalous language. Oleg Platonov, referring to the filmmakers Karpov and Zhukov, writes that the film was banned by Yuri Andropov and KGB General Philip Bobkov. On the contrary, the Russian version of this article does not include these claims, nor would ru-wiki be a reliable source if it did.
