I have Wikified, and removed some local "gossip" I could find no references too, and also a few small sections which didn't represent a neutral point of view.

Maybe someone could find a picture, it sounds like a beautiful place!

Merger proposal[edit]

I think this is ridiculous. The article that is supposed to be merge does not exist.--Filll 12:59, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have corrected this small mistake. Père Lachaise 14:00, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
We have many tourist sites like Blackgang chine that have separate articles here. If the former "Flamingo Park" can be fleshed out better, there is no reason to not have a separate article. We have many stubs for places on Isle of Wight. And hopefully they will grow with more information.--Filll 18:02, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've contributed to the article am not sure it can be fleshed out much more. Blackgang chine is geomorphological so of slightly more importance and of long-term significance. —Joe Llywelyn Griffith Blakesley talk contrib 09:01, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
All of these Isle of Wight articles are stubs, or start out as stubs. I know that the Flamingo Park article can be substantially expanded. Lumping all these small articles together I do not think will improve readability or accessibility, or encourage others to add material. I am against the merger therefore.--Filll 12:07, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
