why this is redirected to 1950 French Grand Prix ? --— Typ932^{T | C} 10:59, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The editor who created the redirect created several other similar redirects at the same time[1] - I think they were trying to eliminate all the redlinks in Scuderia. My guess is that the 1950 French Grand Prix was the first race they found in which Scuderia Ambrosiana participated, so they selected that as a suitable target for the redirect. It's probably just as easy to convert the redirect into a stub article as it would be to delete the redirect. This webpage contains some information about the team - probably enough to create a stub article. Of course it would need to be reworded/summarised to avoid violating copyright.
