Untitled[edit]

Judging by the fact that one of its alternate names is "San Jose Flu", my guess is that it originated around San Jose, California (or possibly some other place named San Jose, but I can't name any off the top of my head)...could someone confirm or deny this? Confirmation on the story of the alleged creator? (last paragraph)[edit]

Quote: The alleged author of the virus was questioned by the FBI soon after the virus was discovered. There were no federal laws on the books at that time with which to charge them so to this day they remain free. This loophole resulted in the "Computer Virus Eradication Act of 1988".

In the only source cited on this page, there is no mention of any of the people, events or the "Computer Virus Eradication Act of 1988".
