Fair use rationale for Image:Urge Overkill Saturation.jpg[edit]

Image:Urge Overkill Saturation.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Impartiality[edit]

Most of this article reads like it was written by a fan or a member of the band, propping up the band's credibility and using flattering language to describe the songs, etc. The Tracks section was removed because it wasn't really encyclopedia material and it was extremely impartial. Cover[edit]

The graphic art for the album cover is an artistic depiction of the Houston, Texas city skyline. Sure, but it's also a direct crib from some album from the 1970s - it's a tribute cover. Tracking down the original - David Gerard (talk) 08:51, 9 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Found it! Rock City Nights, a 1989 TV-advertised hard rock compilation put out by PolyGram. The image is of the Houston skyline, but flipped left-to-right. The image exists in only two places I can find - Rock City Nights and Saturation. If you look at the left of the Saturation sleeve, you can see how the background has been masked out sloppily. The moon is replaced by the Geffen logo.

Sadly this is pure WP:OR and no RS anywhere has covered it, so we can't say it in the article ;-) - David Gerard (talk) 14:35, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
