Bailey quote[edit]

Right now the Bailey quote dominates the article. Kind of like a "coathook" for Clinton! I think, as the editor suggests, this needs to be moved to Bailey article. Let's face it, Clinton's quote is derivative, intended to justify the award and overemphasises Bailey's permanent contribution to the school. The observation is subjective. (The FCATs are a lot more objective, which may be why everyone hates them! :)

I'm sure Bailey was and is a great teacher. The paean to him just doesn't belong in this article. Student7 (talk) 14:39, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Althought your opinion is very reasonable, it isn't binding. If it isn't based on some sort of Wikipedia policy or guideline, it is trumped by the ultimate Wikipedia policy, - WP:CONCENSUS. User:321Baseball and I don't think that this takes away from the article about the school. To the contrary, as the heart of the school is its education and its educators, there's nothing more appropiate for the school article then information about its educators. Most schools are not particularly notable. This award, and presidential notice seems to be the main claim to special notability for this school. So the quote should stay.
