Sarissoforoi[edit]

Sarissoforoi were not light cavalry(!!!) but they were heavy infatry! They were first used by Philip of Macedon and later by Hellenistic armies. This article is entirely wrong.Sarissophoroi were a form of light cavalry. The unit this article refers to are the Pezhetairoi ro foot companions. This needs to be edited immediately.

Sarissophoros[edit]

There are articles about sarissophoros (i.e. the singular of sarissophoroi) in other languages. I think they shall be linked with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarissophoroi Xakepxakep (talk) 19:16, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
