Reception[edit]

The reception to SWAT: Global Strike Team should not be described as simply "average," as the 2013 entry does. The game has a Metascore of 69/100, which the site considers "average to mixed." Given the early 2000s release date when scores tended to be higher, and the many tactical shooters released in it's peer group scoring significantly better during that timeframe, I have updated and expanded this section, characterizing the reception as mixed, and citing additional reviews from top sites.
