IETF link[edit]

Lead to be rewritten[edit]

I think the intro does define it. However, the definition is relying on the technical meaning of "mechanism" and someone unfamiliar with GSSAPI would have to go look that up. Perhaps describing where SPNEGO is typically used in some non-technical terms would help? How about:
