His older brother, Albert, is a surgeon who initially estranged himself from his criminal sibling. When he lost his license after a botched operation, however, Albert reluctantly went to work for his brother. At first Albert vowed that he would only operate on a gunshot wound the younger Thorne had suffered, but he was eventually strong-armed into being the gang's official doctor. When Batman arrested Thorne and his gang, he took pity on Albert and let him go, assuring him that he would be a doctor again someday

I've deleted this from the entry, because I can't find any record of such a story, and I thought Rupert's brother the doctor was the Crime Doctor, who is a willing criminal, and has the first name Bradford. If I'm wrong, please replace this (and revert my changes to the Crime Doctor's page) Daibhid C 12:42, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Will Rupert Thorne make a comeback in the comics sometime in the future?[edit]

Will Rupert Thorne make a comeback in the Batman and Detective Comics issues sometime in the future? Just thought I'd ask. Let me know what you thnink. Thank you. AdamDeanHall 15:29, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

main antagonist[edit]

Although he was a fairly important character in BTAS, he was certainly not the main villain. If anything, Joker would be. 216.36.145.114 03:11, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
