In an ODI using "supersubs", is a sub allowed to act as a runner without counting as having been introduced as a "supersub"? Loganberry (Talk) 00:36, 8 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wording tied to rule[edit]

I'd like to see the wording of the article tied more closely the wording of the relevant rule. The word in the rule seems to be "injured", not "incapacitated". Someone with cramp is incapacitated, but not injured, I'd say. Also, by the way, cramp seems to me to be a wholly forseeable incident of batting energetically and scoring a large total, just like getting tired, and therefore doesn't really justify a runner in normal circumstances. If you are prepared to take the runs, you should be prepared to take the cramp. Tsinfandel (talk) 23:14, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
