"Rudulf Meidner created a proposal in 1976, published by the LO, that called for requiring all companies above a certain size to issue new stock shares to workers, so that within 20 years the workers would control 52% of the companies they worked in."

This is simply not true. They were required to issue new stocks that would be controlled by the trade union (LO) and not by the workers themselves. 90.142.162.15 (talk) 20:56, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality – Rehn-Meidner model[edit]

The section "Rehn-Meidner model" uses insufficient and unbalanced source material and thus presents the subject from an one-sided viewpoint.

"The increasing ambitions and occasional militancy of the Swedish working class in conjunction with Meidner's careful, progressive socialist institutional planning politicized the Swedish capitalist class, via the Swedish Employers Association (SAF), who joined other countries' capitalist classes ramping up their political efforts to destroy working class organizational bases and to promote the capital deregulation and mobility that began to come to obvious crisis in the 2000s"

This section cites two sources published in 1989 ("Vogel, Fluctuating Fortunes in America") and 1992 ("Olsen, The struggle for..."), it seems questionable how these sources can be used to base claims reaching "in the 2000s", in case of Vogel the general relevance of the source is debatable.

"...the aggressively conservative Finance Minister Kjell-Olof Feldt"

This claim does not cite a specific source. If it's based on "Olsen, The struggle for..." this source seems insufficient to justify labeling a Swedish Social Democrat and member of the Palme cabinets as "aggressively conservative", and it raises general questions about the quality and adequacy of Olsen as a source for this article in general.

Overall, this section should cite more balanced sources and present the concept of the Rehn–Meidner model from a more neutral point of view. The article Rehn–Meidner model and the Swedish version of this article could be used as an orientation. It would also be desirable to use Swedish source materials, instead or in addition to the presently used American and British secondary literature.
