30 or 40?[edit]

Last year's Rumble had 40 men. Are they going back to 30 men? Is there a source for this? 75.1.53.13 (talk) 03:27, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's already listed and sourced on the main article page. The Rumble is 30 participants this year.--BarryTheUnicorn (talk) 04:02, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Brands[edit]

Primo and Epico are SmackDown superstars, but it says they're on RAW. Also, Mick Foley is a legend, but it also says that he is on RAW. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.204.175.215 (talk) 22:46, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Who?[edit]

Besides The Miz, who else has been confirmed as being one of the 30 men? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.133.47.225 (talk) 11:16, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sheamus, Wade Barret, Hornswoggle, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahl, Mick Foley, R-Truth, and Cody Rhodes were all stated to be in the rumble during episodes of Raw and Smackdown **** — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.48.207.158 (talk) 16:10, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Does anyone know what the status will be regarding people who are scheduled for other matches? Namely Punk/Ziggler, Cena/Kane, and Bryan/Show/Henry? My assumption is they won't be in the Rumble unless they plan to wrestle twice in one night (not unheard of for Ziggler, but not smart to do when you have your title opportunity right after). Seeing as how the US title isn't being defended, it's plausible guys who have upcoming rematches like Ryder could be in the Rumble. Y12J (talk) 00:21, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have three number twos in the table[edit]

Between 13 and 14 there are two extra rows... 95.147.23.206 (talk) 17:09, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Booker T[edit]

His elimination number has not been added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.92.43.62 (talk) 03:38, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Resolved, someone added 10.

Rodriguez[edit]

I'm pretty sure Rodriguez helped Foley eliminate Gabriel. Also side note, it sucks that they didn't put Kane in yet they let all 3 announcers, Kharma, Road Dogg and Duggan in the match. 173.62.241.113 (talk) 03:53, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dogg and Duggan and Kharma were fine. Y12J (talk) 04:21, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Colours and Brand[edit]

Kharma should have the Diva-colour that Beth had in 2009. Announcers should rather put under Legend than listed like the wrestlers. - Svefnpurka (talk) 04:08, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Booker/Lawler are legends too anyway, Cole's really the only odd one out. Y12J (talk) 04:21, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Indeed, but people kep putting them all as RAW/SD! and keep puting Kharma as RAW too. Also didn't Khali's contract end last year? - Svefnpurka (talk) 11:01, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Times[edit]

I guess that's the next step. I didn't have a timer ready while enjoying it, are people rewatching on PPV with a timer, or do we wait until WWE.com releases something listing the times? I'll add # of eliminations. Y12J (talk) 04:21, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Correct this please[edit]

Booker T was not eliminated tenth. He went 13th along with Khali (14th), because Mahal and Jackson (10th and 11th) were eliminated before Booker even got in there, and Hacksaw (12th) went before him as well. Confirmed off the replay in Australia. 124.180.209.58 (talk) 07:53, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Brodus Clay vs Drew McIntyre[edit]

In the box of the match between Brodus Clay and Drew McIntyre must be added this: "If Drew McIntyre wins the match, he will enter the Royal Rumble Match" --Alnex (talk) 15:39, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Mick Foley[edit]

Wouldn't he be considered a Legend, rather than a Raw Superstar? Whammies Were Here 01:52, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, and same with the announcer team really. - Svefnpurka (talk) 11:50, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Foley goes in the Raw ledger because he had been involved in the Punk/Ziggler/Laurinaitis storyline, and had been on Raw 3 straight weeks.

Foley entered himself in the Rumble, was rejected by Laurinaitis, and when news of his job evaluation came down, he put Foley back in to kiss some Board of Director @$$.

Basically, Mick was in the middle of a storyline, while Hacksaw and Road Dogg were one-off surprise appearances.

The announcers are listed based on the brand they're assigned to as per WWE.com (Cole and Lawler--Raw, Booker--SD)

Edit request[edit]

In the main article, the 2012 Rumble event is listed as having taken place at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, which it did, however, in the info box, the arena is listed as “Spa-Pavilion” (whatever that is) and the city as “Whitby”, which is way over somewhere in Europe. The infobox NEEDS to be updated by someone with the power to do so ASAP, to reflect the accurate arena and city information contained in the article. To whomever it may concern, thank-you for your time and your prompt attention to this matter.216.157.195.66 (talk) 21:08, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Eliminations[edit]

I'm facing a mathematical dilemma. I added a column showing how many people eliminated (used decimals when there was co-op) but no matter how I total it in my head I get 29 when it should be 30, but I think it matches the statistics. Can anyone find the problem? Ranze (talk) 04:35, 28 January 2013 (UTC) Never mind, thought about it a bit, winner isn't eliminated. But 2013 I think may have totalled to 30 so better check up on that. Ranze (talk) 04:37, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
