Request for image[edit]

Jefferson and Declaration of Independence[edit]

I visited the ruins today and inquired about the Jefferson story. The curator said that, while Jefferson and Page were close friends - and Jefferson DID visit Rosewell on many occasions - the story about the draft of the Declaration having been written there is just legend.
