Ronnie Bond of The Troggs versus Ronnie Bond Music[edit]

This is not the Ronnie Bond who wrote Written on Your Body. This Levi's jingle/song was written and sung by the UK jingle writer, Ronnie Bond, who also wrote the flake ad. Hopefully this link of the photo of Ronnie Bond on the inside cover of this single will clear things up as to which Ronnie Bond wrote and performed this jingle which became a hit in June 1980. Ronnie Bond, the UK jingle writer, wrote many famous jingles. Unfortunately, he appears to be getting mixed up with Ronnie Bond of The Troggs, an error which is perpetuated in Wikipedia. http://www.45cat.com/record/mer13 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.44.73.191 (talk) 12:37, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

'Ronnie Bond' of 'The Troggs' was born in 1940 as 'Ronald James Buliss' and died in 1992 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronnie_Bond). 'Ronnie Bond' of tv commercials fame was born 'Ronald Frederick Bond' in 1942 and is still active with Ronnie Bond Music (https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/01259070). Many sites have them confussed as the same person. Ozsat (talk) 11:21, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Birth[edit]

The cited reference, http://thedeadrockstarsclub.com/1992.html, give the birth year as 1943 (as do most other sources). Find A Grave gives it as 1941 Thisdaytrivia (talk) 05:17, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
