Executive announcement

Hi folks, Chris from Rogers here (@Rogers_Chris) - Dirk Woessner has been appointed to President, Consumer Business Unit. [1]

Updated slogan

Hi, Chris from Rogers here - our slogan is no longer "Creating world-leading internet experiences", it has been changed to "Like Never Before" [2]

Updating financial results in Info Box

Hi - this is @Rogers_Chris - I want to point out that the financial information listed in the info box on the top right hand side of the article is out of date, some figures are from 2011. I'd like to point the community to our investor relations page, which list our most current financial results. [3]

Thank you Christ.clarke (talk) 21:38, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

ROGERS IGNITE

Hi, this is @Rogers_Chris from Rogers – I hoped an editor could make some changes to our page to reflect that we launched new ROGERS IGNITE internet packages, which come with unlimited usage, proven reliable speed that is ranked fastest in the country according to PCMag.com, and subscriptions to Rogers™ NHL GameCentre LIVE™ and shomi™. Rogers Extended Coverage

Hi again, this is @Rogers_Chris from Rogers. I hope an editor can make some edits to our page to reflect that as of March 4, 2015, we began offering Extended Coverage, which gives our customers access to our roaming partners’ networks for talk, text and data services across Canada outside of the Rogers network coverage area. It is available at no extra charge. More details are available by visiting our network coverage page, where our coverage map shows what areas have been extended. Rogers Brand

Hi – @Rogers_Chris from Rogers again. I’m asking that an editor update the page to reflect that we refreshed the look and feel of the Rogers brand, as of March 4, 2015. These changes signal that our company is evolving, and we’ve updated the Rogers look and feel to match the new way we’re talking to customers. Changes have started appearing across customer touch points like Rogers.com, retail stores and new campaigns. [6]

Also I see that on this very page, our logo was updated yesterday, and quickly taken down, I believe because an editor cited copyright. I'd be happy to help get this corrected so that our updated logo appears on the page, please leave a note here or get in touch with me through another means (I'm on Twitter @Rogers_Chris) - thanks!

Christ.clarke, The logo was removed from Wikimedia Commons but it can be uploaded locally to Wikipedia with a fair use rationale (see: Special:Upload). Basically, just use the same format listed below File:Rogers logo.svg for the new one (page source is pretty simplistic; little cluttered though). I've reintroduced the previous image for the interim. Namaste. -- dsprc [talk] 07:44, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
Dsprc, I've attempted to upload a logo and update the page myself, but the image was removed citing that it was a "bad upload" which isn't clear to me. Any help you can offer getting the logo updated is appreciated. Thank you.

Christ.clarke, I noticed that too and wasn't all that clear to me either. Maybe image ended up like one of these: File:Glitch Wikipedia logo..jpg, File:Example, databent.png? You can try again and see if that works this time (would do this first), ask WP:FFU to do it for you (might take a while), provide a public link here or email me and I'll do it. -- dsprc [talk] 20:10, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
Christ.clarke, I've (finally!) updated the logos. Used RGB version as it more closely resembles colours used in other branding. As for your note[1] on Rogers Cable etc being absorbed into Communications proper: someone else can take a stab at it (not really my forte). I mention here to maybe attract some interest. Tagged with {{update}} in interim. -- dsprc [talk] 04:53, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
