Untitled[edit]

Wikipedia already has a page for "Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals" which is the incorrect name of the University. This page should replace that page. The correct name of the University is "Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions." This may be verified at www.rmuohp.edu. (Blasia27 (talk) 20:40, 2 March 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Whatever the proper name of the institution, Wikipedia cannot be used to advertise it. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:45, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The institution is a university. It is notable. We should not delete an article because its current contents are advertising, we should revise the article to not be advertising if the thing is notable as is the case here.John Pack Lambert (talk)
This article should be deleted until a more objective description of this university can be obtained/created. It is a disservice to the community to place advertising on the site. 24.250.165.42 (talk) 23:29, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Status and Advice[edit]

  1. Actual universities are notable--certainly accredited ones are, there is some dispute over non-accredited, but that is now irrelevant
  2. The accreditation has a third party source
  3. A list of the degree programs offered is appropriate content, & I shal l restore it.
  4. I cannot verify that it is the first for profit college to be accredited by the NW Commission. Their directory lists a few others with prior dates; the earliest seems to be Art Institute of Portland, Portland, OR in 1977.
