This article itself does a good job in describing the life of Rocco Siffredi the pornstar. The objections here are immature and unfounded. Tell us why you think it is all those tihngs, and insensitive? Because its being descriptive and giving all the details it can? You need to grow up.

Me too, how can such repulsive, disgusting, nauseating, horrible, good-for nothing, vulgar, insensitive thing be in wikipedia. Its a shame on wikipedia to allow such disgusting articles. Wikipedia, I strongly suggest you to delete any articles regarding pornographies. This is meant to be an encyclopedia site for educations and other general enquires. For the goodness of your heart, clear it up!

I wholeheartedly disagree with your objection to censoring this article. The content of this article may seem somewhat lewd to impressionable minds, however the content of this article is not meant to be shocking or obscene. It is meant to highlight the career of an accomplished actor. I believe censoring this article would lead to a drastic trend on wikipedia of suppression of ideas and free flow of information. Please reconsider your objection.

I've made a couple of general changes to the page, with a few more to come. The lengthy textual additions are my own work but based on mucho reading from mags like AVN, the Luke Ford site, discussion with fellow Siffredi fans here in my country and a long, continuing interest in this controversial figure.

It's adulatory, and is trying way too hard to shock. Rocco himself probably would think it innacurate. And what about statements such as the Breillat movie exploring groundbreaking themes? Awful article. Anonymous

More than adulatory it's ridiculous in it's belief of the cinematic techniques of Rocco's work. No, certain films do not aim to 'break the fourth wall' by bringing in more men into the scene, they simply want more cocks on camera! This article doesn't contain adulation or POV, in my opinion. I don't see any reason why anyone would think that this article is trying "shock" people either. It isn't the least bit shocking. There are no pornographic images or crude language. This article is as encyclopedic as any other (except perhaps the mention of his penis size. I think that's unneccesary.) I'm afraid, Harmonica, that just because you don't look at pornography as an art form doesn't mean that it isn't appreciated by others. In any case, I disagree with Berserk798: the information on Rocco's penis size would be encyclopedic, but things such as Breillat's movie exploring groundbreaking themes or the fourth wall commentary, are more pertinent in a review than in a proper enclyclopedia. The Picture[edit]

that's not Rocco is it? doesn't too like him to me. That guy looks really dishelleved. Also, what's Rocco's fixation with that sexual practice known as 'Ass to Mouth'. Any recent Rocco DVD I've seen always features another women performing fellatio on a penis that has just been removed from another woman's anus. Is that not incredibly dangerous? I mean they must need Hepatitis shots before performing. And what's the motive to lower yourself to such acts? money can't be that good.

The "ass to mouth" thing is not all Rocco Siffredi's doing. It's a current trend in heterosexual porn, and has long been established as a regular practice in about 10-15% of heterosexual relationships. As for the comments about Hepatitis, it's true that analingus can transmit disease, but then so can cunnilingis, fellatio, and even open-mouth kissing. As long as you clean yourself beforehand (something I'd hope would be standard practice) and keep your partners out of the double digits, you'll probably be okay.

That said, this dude pushes the envelope of what's in good taste, as well as the definition of "humiliation." I, for one, find most of his later work distasteful and nauseating. Anyone who needs to see a woman choked or see her head shoved into a toilet to get off needs therapy, not porn.

No problem, thanks for the ping. Fair use (particularly with regards to magazine covers) is interpreted quite strictly on Wikipedia. While a single fair-use image may be used to illustrate a subject if no free image is available, this will in almost no circumstances extend to an image like this one. It's only when the image from the cover itself is the subject of a non-trivial section of the article that it constitutes fair use. Jessica Alba is a good example of this. Here there are already illustrative images and the cover appearance does not constitue (according to the text) a notable event. - brenneman {L} 23:57, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the clarification. I took the liberty to mention the Playgirl spread he did in the section regarding his cross-over appeal. It actually fits into the topic nicely. I thought that since the specific issue was mentioned that the image would then be of fair use, and thus can be used on the page once more. Please let me know if this does fall in line or not. Orientation[edit]

Height[edit]

First, excuse for the vocabulary I am going to use.

Who the fuck! changes his height to 5'10????!!! Rocco is a fucking tall guy. He is about 1.90m. Who is that asshole that lists him as 178?? And what worse, even Google uses Wikipedia's height. DO NOT MISINFORM PEOPLE!

Again, sorry for the vocabulary, but it is getting ridiculous.

I am sure that in an interview to Specchio (1999?) he stated his penis to be 26 cm long.

Problem with penis size information[edit]

The information in this article is used as criterion for inclusion in the list at Human penis size#Men famous for their large penis as well as Category:Men with unusually large penis. Now, more than 50 names have been included, and there have been objections raised strong enough that both the list and the category are currently targeted for deletion. Placing this posting uniformly on the talk pages of the articles concerned, I would firstly encourage editors to make sure reliable sourcing is provided to support the claims regarding penis size. Secondly, editors might wish to involve themselves in the discussions taking place at Talk:Human penis size and Wikipedia:Categories for discussion. __meco 14:02, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rocco says in his autobiography book that his penis is 23cm, by the way.

Origin of the name[edit]

Siffredi took his stage name from the character of gangster Roch Siffredi, played by Alain Delon in Borsalino (1970) and its sequel Borsalino & Co, both of which were huge hits in Europe at the time. As far as I know, he did not take it from Delon's character in Rocco and his Brothers (1960). It is highly probable, however, that young Rocco Tano was named in the first place after the Delon character, that he grew up being an Alain Delon fan, and that it led him to choose his stage name from another Delon character. I'm just speculating here and couldn't find any source backing this, but if anybody did, that would be nice to add it. The Siffredi stagename, however, definitely comes from Borsalino. Too weak reference in the song[edit]

"Rocco Siffredi is referenced in the song "Kundel Bury" from band Arka Satana.[14]" There is only the forename in the song (see http://www.tekstowo.pl/piosenka,arka_satana,kundel_bury.html ) and it's about a gay dog.
