This page should not be speedy deleted because... Robert Sherwin is a winner of the distinguished Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award, which recognizes him being the best sub-6' tall college basketball player in the nation. His name has been listed on the Naismith Award page for some time now (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frances_Pomeroy_Naismith_Award) and it seems appropriate to create a wikipedia entry for him. I'd be more than happy to remove anything which seems inappropriate; I figured background information leading up to his college exploits and a description of what he's currently doing both seemed appropriate.Coreysherwin (talk) 08:55, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

On http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_%28sports%29#College_athletes, it states that a winner of a national award is notable.Coreysherwin (talk) 09:12, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I updated based on corrected information. I believe that I also properly cited all the claims made.Coreysherwin (talk) 23:05, 27 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
