Irrelevant and self-promotion[edit]

This article should be deleted, as it is irrelevant. It centers about somebody alive, whose work and interest to history merits the same as those of thousaads of technical/academic professionals.

It's easy to see, reading the article, the intent as self-promotion (and/of perhaps also that of the company he works for), manufactured fame, and artificially built renown. And also this manipulation reachs to the point of contaminating other articles, putting his name as something relevant in the article of the quicksort algorhytm, for instance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.37.231.10 (talk) 07:59, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This article is out of date: Sedgewick retired from Princeton University[edit]

As you can see here, https://www.princeton.edu/news/2022/09/21/sixteen-faculty-members-transfer-emeritus-status as of July 1, 2022 Professor Robert Sedgewick retired from Princeton University. His title at Princeton is now "Professor Emeritus". Someone might want to update the wikipedia article. 128.112.139.195 (talk) 20:02, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
