It says "playing concerts in Europe under the direction of celebrated musicians such as Abt, Dessof, Reinecke and Gade." We have no way of knowing who these are. It might be Franz Wilhelm Abt, Felix Otto Dessoff (note spelling), Carl Reinecke and Niels Wilhelm Gade, but I couldn't put those in since it would be making assumptions. Anyone have any sources please? --Stfg (talk) 19:26, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm a German musicology student working on a project about the concerts in the Gewandhaus between 1880 and 1914. I can confirm that Fischhof has played a concert with Carl Reinecke (October 18, 1883, 2nd Piano Concerto, op. 21 by Frederic Chopin) at the Gewandhaus. I would also guess that the "celebrated musician" named "Gade" is Niels Wilhelm Gade. He was quite famous at that time and often played at the concerts in the Gewandhaus. --Radetim (talk) 12:15, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
