Untitled[edit]
Robert A. Hefner Jr. has been inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame (1973) for his work in the energy sector and is a notable person of importance to Oklahoma. His father, Robert A. Hefner Sr., was elected Mayor of Oklahoma City as well as a Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice, and is the reason that much of Oklahoma City has the Hefner name to this day (i.e. Lake Hefner[1], Hefner Middle School, Hefner Road, Hefner Parkway, etc). Sr. was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 1949. I will be posting the sources very soon like "An Oklahoma Legacy: The Life of Robert A. Hefner Jr." by Odie B. Faulk and Laura E. Faulk as well as "The Judge: The Life of Robert A. Hefner" by Clifford Earl Trafzer.
