I was ready to finalize the initial write-up, when the Eureka! hit. The Araguaia-Tocantins is usually considered the Amazon Range. But note, it releases just east of the Amazon outlet. So I had to "accurify" my initial write-up; I hope it is still concise, or close. I had to add the Xingu River, and the range goes across country to the ocean outlet of the Tocantins (see the RangeMap at "www.natureserve.org" (then 'InfoNatura') (It's the only Non-corridor stretch for the River Tyrannulet))...from the Deserts of ARizona, SWest USA, SonoranDesert... ..Mmcannis 04:00, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
