Sentence requiring expansion, please.[edit]

"The A3 was renamed the B2215, and what has always been a major trunk road was expanded into six lanes north of Guildford, allowing Send and Ripley." ....to what? --Oldontarian (talk) 13:48, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I have suggested that Ripley Court School should be merged to this article as it is a non-notable primary school which doesn't meet the criteria for inclusion in Wikipedia. Any comments or suggestions appreciated. Fob.schools (talk) 12:24, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Eric Clapton's son[edit]

would this be appropriate for mentioning? his son Conor Clapton is buried here, I'm not experienced enough to judge whether this would go under famous residents or another category? cheers JcwDenno (talk) 10:34, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The notable person is the father, not the son. Once you go down that road, where do you stop? Murgatroyd49 (talk) 11:05, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
very true, definitely valid, my thoughts were Conor was somewhat notable due to the press attention that followed the accident of his death, plus is led Eric to create the song 'tears in heaven'.
the incident did create headlines and there are still articles being released where journalists evaluate Conor's influence on Eric's writing. just a thought JcwDenno (talk) 11:08, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Difficult one, there is no easy answer. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 11:15, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
