Not sure worth mentioning, but...[edit]

The Bourrée (Boree) in B-flat major from piece 5 of Harpsichord suite no. 3 is featured (not sure about currently) in the 2015 Royal Conservatory of Music piano syllabus for Level 5. (Page 44 of this) thought this would be interesting considering how relatively unknown the composer is modernly. Not sure if it should be mentioned in the article or not, considering no other articles would mention any similar details.

Harpsichord suite No. 3 (B-flat major):

  1. Prelude
  2. Sarabande
  3. Allegro
  4. Minuet
  5. Boree
  6. Largo
  7. Giga

Scores?[edit]

Mitzi Myerson in the liner notes to Glossa CD GCD 921806 (RichardJones (?-1744) 'Chamber Airs for a Violin (and Thorough Bass)', from an interview with Cassandra Hull, mentions that she 'suddenly had the original scores of Richard Jones in her hands' but doesn't mention where she found them!
