What are the issues with this article?

I liked this game. Granted, I was young... but it was enjoyable. Beat it.

My dad once owned an arcade game company. His Revolution X cabinet was so successful he had to retrofit it with a bill acceptor.

Why is there nothing here about how this is considered one of the worst games of all time? 209.136.161.135 (talk) 15:09, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Probably because we can't find a reputable source that says that. Or, at least, I can't. It may be common knowledge that this game sucks, but nobody but GameFAQ reviewers and bloggers seem to say anything about it. And don't forget, even if we found quotes that said this, we'd have to include quotes that said the opposite, just to be NPOV. -- trlkly 05:45, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
GamePro panned the SNES and Genesis versions, I think, but I don't think they have archives that go that far back. Casey J. Morris (talk) 18:42, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DVDs?[edit]

This article mentions DVDs and LaserDVDs. Um... they're CDs. This game came out in 1994. The DVD wasn't even invented yet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.32.124.223 (talk) 21:30, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mortal Kombat ads[edit]

I've just looked through a few versions of Mortal Kombat II for arcade, and none feature a revolution X advert or even mention it in service mode. Can someone prove this? Otherwise I'm going to get rid of that section as uncited. — Preceding unsigned comment added by VanillaSeagull (talkcontribs) 15:07, 18 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

High Scores[edit]

I just added a section on the world record for highest score, because there is now a debate online about who legitimately holds the highest recorded score. Most websites have 19,797,890 recorded from Aaron Van Buren, but many believe it doesn't count, since it was a ROM for the SNES port. Recently, John Bullard earned a score of 4,099,990 on one of the original arcade cabinets, so I included the video as proof. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrUl_QmysrI&feature=youtu.be — Preceding unsigned comment added by AnimasaIsLove (talkcontribs) 03:36, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
