What is the source for the track listing?[edit]

I know side three’s been released so tracks like “The Drummer” and “Bag of Grins” are confirmed, but can’t seem to find any source for the majority of the tracks and they are not cited here. Elephantranges (talk) 18:17, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Eddie" – status as a single[edit]

Considering Rolling Stone, Stereogum, and Guitar World have referred to "Eddie" specifically as a single, I think it's safe to assume it is one and should remain listed in the singles list for the album. Elephantranges (talk) 19:30, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Spill Magazine's Gerrod Harris praises the release and states, "Overall, Return Of The Dream Canteen feels like a less mainstream Unlimited Love. Written and recorded during the same sessions, this is only natural; however, there is an element of creativity and reckless abandon to Return Of The Dream Canteen that sees the pop influence of the sessions – while still present – take a back seat.
