Many sudden edits to the page[edit]

I recently made large changes to this page as a requirement for an American Women & Gender History college class, which features a final project centered around creating or significantly modifying the Wikipedia page of a notable American woman. It is my first major Wikipedia contribution and I was unsure how to add my changes while causing the least disruption to the article, so apologies if there are any errors or oversights.
