I used to work for Restless, so I was thinking of adding some more historical data.

When I was there, the people who worked at Restless were:

Brian Cohen (production) Julie Kryslur (promotion/A&R/Tour Suppport) Curtis Beck (A&R) Chris Watts (me) (Radio/A&R) Sharon ???? (Metal promotion) Julie ????? (Press) Ron Goudie (producer and general genius) Jan Goudie (Ron's wife and manager of seminal LA club the 'Music Machine' Liz ?????? (Liason to Metal Blade Records

if anyone can help me complete this I can post it to the main section. I have been digging a bit but I want to verify before posting more.

BTW I am not trying to make anyone, least of all me, famous, but back in the day (eg before the internet) Restless was a pretty important force, if the peeps above are still around they might have something interesting to add.

UPDATE: Many of the Restless/Enigma/Greenworld employees have created a Facebook group to reconnect and share experiences.

From that page:

At the time of the Capitol distribution agreement in 1986, Enigma formed a subsidiary label, Restless Records, to remain with the indepenent distributors to nurture acts not ready for major label distribution. A subdivision, Restless Retro, inherited Enigma's arrangement with Mute Records. Restless Records is now a subsidiary of Rykodisc.

I tracked down Wesley Hein and I'll talk to him about giving quote or helping update the page. Stay tuned. I've also located Thaine Tierney, who was a later arrival, but he will remember far more of the history than I will. The facebook page was created by Steve BrownLee, I'll talk to him too.
