So this is my first article, it's not finished yet so I'm just wondering what do you think of it. Herpetology (talk) 21:43, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well, currently it is completely unsourced. Among other things, that means that you have not provided any references that establish that the subject is notable in the Wikipedia sense; i.e., that sources not directly connected with the subject have covered it extensively. Newspaper articles etc. that do more than just noting the zoo exists would be a good start. Until you provide these, the article is very likely to get tagged for deletion soon on grounds of non-notability, so I'd suggest you try to add some, if they exist.
Please also note that a) much that is currently in the article is unencyclopedic (e.g. the name of the alligator and the show times for the venom milking show) and should be removed, and that b) each statement (or section/paragraph) remaining in the article needs to be sourced to a reference.
Overall, I'm not too optimistic that the Reptile World Serpentarium is notable and sourcable enough to have an article, but good luck. -- Elmidae(talk) 07:43, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, do you like the article. I tried to add a citation and notability from a Orlando news article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Snake dude (talk • contribs) 20:55, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry to say that this reference does nothing to establish the notability of the Serpentarium itself - it just notes that the guy owns a place of that name. What you need are references that show significant coverage in unconnected sources (please do have a look at Wikipedia:Notability). It is quite possible that these do not exist for any given topic, in which case that topic is unsuitable for inclusion in Wikipedia. Them's the breaks... -- Elmidae(talk) 07:54, 24 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
