criticism section needed[edit]

There should be more about the downsides of repetitive songs, and its criticism. I think it shows low quality song writing skills, when a singer needs to repeat words over and over and over. Therefore you will find it is more prevalent in styles of music such as pop, that unashamedly embrace low quality songs and song writing

I also generally find songs with repetitive lyrics to be annoying and hard to listen to because i find it abrasive — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.81.199.45 (talk) 02:10, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure this link should be in this page?[edit]

There's a link to "The Rockafeller Skank" which goes to Fatboy Slim's song? Why is this on the page?

Self-referential song example[edit]

“The Song That Doesn’t End” does not quote its lyrics, it simply repeats them. These are not the same. I don’t know an example of a song that does quote its own lyrics, but to do so in a way to make an endless sing would be recursive. TSTDE is the simplest and purest form of a repetitive song. 70.126.199.39 (talk) 04:02, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
